Again a coffee mug in hand, A small thought of writing something, what matters is that now what will be the topic?? This time a small discussion of briefing a slow, sweet, and a contemprory love story.... :)
What life is?? Being with lots of people around, with whom you can laugh, enjoy, have fun, share all your love? Or at times you just need to walk alone to know your own shell??
If it is only about it then have you ever thought that how an Indian women lives her life?? Taking care of her husband keeping him happy, every now an then trying new things to make him happy, taking care of her kids... That's it?? Where is her life? Where she is?
These all were my questions when it was me sitting in the theater, watching the movie"The Lunch Box"... September 23rd, 2013.. A small reality where I felt love in between the shell of an old chap and the young lady who is the housewife. And struggling with all those. Questions I asked above..
We never can relate that what next god can give to us, all her struggle and her fight to be happy got a new begining when she started sharing herself . We say only being with each other physically we can share or know each other. However, this small sweet cup of movie will state those mind sets wrong who say this.
A small start of writing letter just to say a thank you and then a small crisp of chillies to make the old chap realise that the tiffin was by mistaken deliver and he is non to question about the food which is cooked by the housewife for her husband , however, the delievery to the very wrong person is the right delivery of sharing. Emotions, feelings, thoughts in mind and heart in letters in the Lunch Box will make you smile in a way.
And gradually when the housewife realise that yes, she also have her life, someone is there to share her thoughts, feelings, life, then why can't she have the right to give it a second thought?? If the husband have the right to have an extra maritial affair, then I believe the tag of being housewife no more should be there. :)
She also have her dreams to live in the way she wants, How? When?Where? Why? Every small question of her life will be answered by her.. :)
All I learn from this movie was "Bhutan main India ka 1 rupee = wahan ka 5 rupee :) "
